Artist Comments
Where The Heart Resides was inspired by the twin cascades of Anna Ruby Falls. This location carries a moving legend: it was discovered by a man who had lost nearly everything, and he named the falls for his only daughter—the light of his life and his hope for the future.
In this piece, the artist sought to capture a sense of discovery and the enduring nature of hope. The composition follows the cooling mist as it tumbles over ancient stone, framed by a forest canopy alive with the luminous, pale greens of spring. It is a celebration of the things that endure—the steady flow of water and the quiet, radiant energy of a sanctuary found.
